Konnichiwa
I opened this post because i realised that it doesn't exist yet. Ppl who are handicapped tend to get left out. Not anymore. Tell us about your handicap and how you deal with it.

mine would be vision, sometimes I can't see what I'm looking for, even if it's right in front of me>Speech, tongue tied>hearing, I don't often hear what people are saying. I know it's weird.

What i cant stand is people who say they r handicapped when really they just wear glasses ect. I am actually handicapped, i am visually impaired. i have albinism and nystagmus. u may not b farmilliar with the term "albinism" but u may have heard of a person or animal who is an albino <<< thats me! it means i am sensitive to light and usually need 2 wear sunglasses outdoors during the day. the lighting situation can determan my visual acuity, in some bad situations i am considered "legally blind" but in the dark (even pitch black) i can see, creepy yeah? nystagmus is an involuntary movement of my eyes, they waver and twitch making it difficult for my eyes to focus. i find dealing with tehse issues hard, school is a nightmare and the people there are bitches, i often refuse to go to school although i know i shouldnt i cant help it. i should be at school right now u r probably wondering how i manage to read the tiny font on this forum, i have an onscreen magnifier with "one click access". i can read books with larger font, but i often listen to audiobooks, i dont read braille but i sort of know it. if u hav any questions feel free to ask

I haven't met them yet (it's my step dad's niece and she still hasn't gotten over the death of his wife, so she doesn't wanna meet us yet). Someone who is albino is someone who has no pigment (colour) in their body, so features like hair and skin colour are naturally pale and eyes are sometimes seen as pink. Due to lack of pigment, albino's are indeed extremely sensitive to sunlight (but not completely), and also have high chances of being vision impaired.
